Mmmmm. Japanese Steakhouse Soup!! This is a dish that I made myself. Where I'm in a culenary class I get to make tasty things like this all the time. I plated it special so I could get this photo. The bowl I ate was a little less pretty . Anywho, this is day 9 of my Day by Day project: [link]

. 5 cups chicken stock
. 1/2 cup water
. 1/2 tavlespoon minced ginger root
. 1 clove garlic, minced
. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
. 2-3 skinless chicken breast, boneless and cubed
. 1/4 pound fresh snow peas, trimmed and halved
. 1 large carrot, chopped
. 3 fresh mushrooms, sliced
. 2 green onions, chopped

Bring the chicken stock, water, ginger, garlic, and soy sauce to a simmer in a large pot over med heat. Stir in chicken peices, and return to a simmer. Reduce heat to med-low, and continue simmering until the chicken is tender and no longer pink inside, about 15 mins.
Stir in the snow peas ans carrots, and simmer 5 mins. Add the mushrooms, and continue simmering until the veges are tender, about 3 or so mins. Stir in the green onions ans serve.
